FESTIVAL of THE CELTS has been primarily a music and dance festival held at Upper Cwmtwrch, Green Valley for 2 sell out years before moving to Llandovery free town centre for 2 wet august years as a music feast.
Now expanding into Foods, Drink and Arts and moving throughout the town centre and around the National Trust grounds of Dinefwr Castle Park, for the foreseeable future years.
Over 30 Celtic based foods and drinks, over 40 musicians and Celtic based artists to be involved in this 2 day bank holiday feast of Music, foods, crafts and workshops. Well being to including bushcrafts and woodcrafts amongst the many workshops and competitive games , like tug o’ war and log hurling.

May 4 & 5 Festival of the Celts
Pleased to announce that we have the amazingly talented The Meadows. They are a vibrant multi-instrumentalist Celtic-Crossover band, all drawn from one family. Bringing cutting-edge techniques and an exciting, contemporary vibe to every show, the band perform original works which weave between foot stomping reels to rich vocal harmonies, taking their audiences on an spellbinding journey. A set not to be missed.
